 The Green Insulating Foam Tile, GIF-T, is a composite material formed from a porous ceramic foam core and a clay shell frame, providing a plant foundation and thermal barrier. As the foam core and shell frame are fired as a whole, the tile will not disaggregate.
*Tiles are molded to be the same standard size and shape as regular 227mm × 60mm exterior tiles.
*Tile strength is on par with that of regular clay tiles.
*GIF-T tiles can be used in combination with regular tiles.
